Referral Process:
You will need a referral from your Primary Care Physician to schedule an appointment. We will schedule an appointment as quickly as possible.
Prescription Refill Process:
When calling for a prescription renewal, please know the name of the drug that you need and telephone number of the pharmacy where you fill your prescriptions. Please monitor you medication supply to avoid the need for prescription renewals on weekends or holidays. Refills should be requested during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. There are many medications that the on-call physicians cannot refill over the phone. We prefer 48 hours notice for refills. This allows us time to get your physician's approval and the pharmacy time to fill the prescription.

Located on Rhode Island Hospital campus - Physician's Office Building (POB)
From I-95 North
- Take exit 18, bear left towards Eddy Street
- At the traffic light take a right onto Eddy St.(there will be a Burger King on the right and a Shell station on the left.)
- Follow Eddy St past a Wendy's and a Dunkin Donuts. At the Traffic light take a left onto Dudley Street.
- You will drive between Hasbro Children's Hospital and the Ambulatory Surgical Center.
- Follow Dudley keeping Women & Infants Hospital on your right.
- Turn Right onto Gay Street and then another right, again keeping Women & Infants Hospital on your right side. Plain Street Parking Lot will be on your left.
- Park in that lot and walk towards the APC building (a tall stone building) in front of the lot and we are to the left of the APC (Ambulatory Patient Center) in the Physicians Office Building, 1st floor, suite 116.
From I-95 South
- Take exit 19 (Eddy Street). Bear Right toward Borden.
- Take a right on Borden and follow up to Plain Street.
- Take left onto Plain St and follow around parking lots to the entrance of the Plain Street Lot across from Women & Infants.
From I-195 West
- Take I-195 west to I-95 south.
- Keep right at the fork and continue towards Eddy Street.
- Take exit 1B/Eddy St
- At the end of the ramp turn left onto Eddy Street.
- At traffic light turn left onto Dudley St.
- Follow the bolded directions above
